This is the 1.3 Hectare Forest VAN COLLAR owns as a backyard of the site. Most of the seasonal maintenance is done by ourselves. Beautiful all along 4 seasons, and it is a wonderful stage of creation!

VAN COLLAR FOREST
Revival
As we started to take care of the forest, the lights came back in and the darkened forest has revived beautifully. Now the forest gives us various seasonal graces, such as nuts and wild vegetables. Through having to take those graces, the sense of thankfulness to the nature arises in us, humans.
荒れてていた森は手入れにより光を取り戻し、今では栗や筍や山菜など、たくさんの恵みを私たちに分け与えてくれる森に生まれ変わりました。森での採取を通じて、自然の恵みに対する感謝の気持ちがおのずと育まれます。
Firewoods
There are various beautiful trees in the forest. And not only let us enjoy our eyes, there are trees that can be used for buildings and firewoods. Firewoods are indispensable during winter time, and they are also wonderful materials for outside cooking! It is such a pleasure to see the moment when woods collected by our hands turn into energy.
森には椿や楓といった観賞を楽しめる木々はもちろんのこと、材木・薪として使える針葉樹や広葉樹が育っています。薪は冬場の暖をとりに使いますが、野外での調理にも非常に適しています。自分で集めた木々がエネルギーへと変わる貴重な瞬間には感動を覚えます。
Exploring
It is an extreme joy to do exercise, moving our body parts, in a forest surrounded by beauty and clean air. There are still unknown places in our forest. Let us explore the mysterious excitement of the forest!
美味しい空気を吸いながら、普段あまり動かさない部位まで身体をしっかりと使っての活動は本当に気持ちが良いものです。まだまだ開拓中の森には未知なる顔がたくさん。面白いものを見つけに探検に出ましょう！
